Question by lol.: I need an educated response as to…?!?
“What is Art?”
Whether it’s a drawing that a kindergartner brings to him mother or a fine work of Picasso. What do you as an individual define Art as? (I know, really broad and philosophical 
)
“What is a Genius?”
Not the Cliche everyday response/overused and abused word, “You’re a genius”, but a more realistic term of, “What is a GENIUS?”
You can always use supportive info like famous people for evidence. I am in an art class and our teacher encouraged us to research some opinions, etc online.

My art is as a songwriter/guitarist. It took me 30+ years to arrive, but now I have entered the building. My songs get good reviews (I’ve yet to hear a bad review). When
I started out, my songs sucked, to be brutally honest. Now that I have more life experience, my songs and lyrics have much more relevance to my audience than some teenage angst type stuff. It’s very rewarding – but I am careful to not get too prideful about my work. I feel that a lot of musicians get like overblown egos. I don’t want to be like that.

I have many nicknames. “Brainiac” is one (I’m a natural at Mathematics, that’s my degree). I work as an accountant and I understand that pretty much perfectly well. After all, I charge $ 50 per hour to do small business accounting and there has never been a problem – and this has been going on for 20+ years. Another current nickname I have been coined with is the ‘double amazing international pimp’ LOL. I have friends around the world thanks to the internet (strangely enough, they are all women), but I’m not ‘pimping’ them out or anything like that. They just respect me for my ability to listen to what they have to say – and they listen to what I have to say as well. Naturally, we don’t always agree, but it’s the conversation that matters. Anyways, I don’t consider myself to be a ‘genius’ – I consider myself to be a ‘Renaissance man’.
I could play you a Bach lute piece if you like. Or one of my songs. Or you should read my play written in the style of Shakespeare. Or if you were a friend, you would be able to see my custom avatar, which I drew 6 years ago – it’s cool – and I am NOT known for being a good graphic artist. It just came out of somewhere. Or if you need some help with your advanced calculus courses, I can help you there too.
